July 19th

Saturday July 19th was a very exciting day for all of us. First the Nicol boys came over in the morning to play. While the "Big Boys" made space ships and police boats out of Lego's, Matthew zoomed around the house pushing his stroller. Chris and I are continually amazed at how much more we seem to be able to get done with these six boys at our house than with just our three!

Shortly after the Nicol boys left Christina arrived with her two. After some bike riding, more Lego's, and a short stint with the Playmobil people we went to the new University Town Center for pizza and playing in the fountains:

What are the Brown Boys up to today?

I know you are wondering how our Turkeys are doing so Chris and I (having been inspired by m&m's Animal Farm) decided that we would start a blog and then do our best to update it. So here they are, the little turkeys we know and love!

We dug out some t-shirts Greg, Amy, Kate and I had growing up and took some pictures before leaving for the pool:

July 10th

Matthew slept through dinner then woke up as we were putting the boys to bed. So the boys get a story from Dad:

while Matthew has dinner and a photo shoot:

The flash was off on these, so it looks like they were taken in the 70's...

A few days after Christmas the boys were enjoying all of their new gifts and Kate and Chris were taking pictures with Chris' new I Phone.

After a short stint on a pedal-less bike Michael was eager to try to ride a "real bike". One evening Chris and Uncle Craig took Michael to Value Village (the thrift store) and came home having spent $5 on a pink and white (where the pink had faded) bike with purple tassels and purple pedals.
First thing the next morning Michael wanted to try to ride his new bike. After making him sit still for a few bites of breakfast he was released to his new bike. In the moments it took me to find the camera and grab Joshua, Michael had it all figured out. Craig and I heard him shout "I can do it! I can do it! I can ride a bike!" as he wobbled up and down the block. Here is the evidence with some commentary from the bystanders.
